Since leaving the student culture behind some 3 and half years ago i have generally led a healthy lifestyle, and in the summer just gone i made the biggest effort i've ever made. The problem is, even if i eat all the healthy things, i'd still eat too much because eating great tasting food is one of my favourite hobbies!

So the goal of acheiving 10% body fat has been long standing, and to be fair to myself, have gone from 24% to 15% since leaving uni. Although i've been around 15-16% for the last year or so!

This time i'm doing it differently. I'm only gonna be eating a certain amount of calories per day which should get me the results i want, but i'll find it hard going i'm sure.

I've started this blog (my first by the way) so i can keep a record of progress to help me motivate myself. Also if anyone wants to join in or offer their experience to help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

So it all kicks off on 2nd January and i'll post my schedule next week and starting "athletic" stats the week after.

Happy Christmas

Simon
